IBPSA-Canada Membership Registration

Membership in IBPSA-Canada is free. There are two forms of
membership: individual and corporate.

Individual membership
Any individual working in Canada in the field of building simulation can become an individual member of IBPSA-Canada. This encompasses practitioners, researchers, software developers, and students. Building simulation does not have to be your sole job function in order to qualify you for membership. Anyone who directly or indirectly applies building simulation in their work qualifies for membership. The benefits of individual membership include:

  • You will receive abstract calls and other announcements regarding the eSim conferences.
  • You will receive announcements on new web services offered by IBPSA-Canada.
  • You will become a full member of IBPSA-World and have access to an electronic copy of IBPSA's newsletters ibpsaNews.
  • You will have the option of joining an unmoderated mailing that will allow practitioners and researchers to exchange views and solicit advice on any aspect of building simulation.

Although the IBPSA-Canada web site is open to all, interested parties are encouraged to register as individual members, this to facilitate communications and to demonstrate relevancy to agencies that sponsor IBPSA-Canada activities.

Corporate membership
Any organization based in Canada and active or interested in the field of building simulation can become a corporate member of IBPSA-Canada. This category is open to companies, university groups, and government agencies. All corporate members will have the right to list their organization’s building simulation services on the IBPSA-Canada web site. This will include the organization's name, contact information, and a brief statement summarizing the nature of their services.
